The Monster Update Part Deux

Yes, not even a calamitous Lee Li Jen blunder can stop me from posting! Given the fact the pictures convey feelings that words can't, let me summarize the Venice Carnevale as a colourful party of song, dance and costumes. See I told you words suck.

Thankfully for you and me, Lee Li Jen merely removed a single folder and not my entire hard disk. Memories of the journey from Milan onwards are thus intact. Phew...

So, after a solid 3 days of hardcore sightseeing in the lovely city of Venice, we were off bright and early on a sunday morning to the fashion capital of Italy, Milan. We ended up bunking with some schoolmates from SMU (god bless them) instead of Uncle Phua as he had gone AWOL on us...that plus the fact that we weren't the most contactable human beings on planet earth at that point of time.

Anyway, we went straight to the heart of Milan, the Piazza del Duomo, where the majestic cathedral and Vittorio Emanuele Arcade greeted us on a rare sunny day in Milan. Those attractions, and tonnes of shops, shops and more shops...

Turns out that Milan too was having its own little carnevale at the Piazza del Duomo...hehe

Before I continue, let me cast a curse on the bunch of ignoramuses living above me, partying away in the common kitchen at 1am, blasting their idea of music loud enough for the whole neighbourhood to hear. I hope your ear drums burst from the noise and your lungs suffocate from the smoke. Then after, I hope the microwave explodes and burns all of you in a fiery hell. You guys are giving Danes a very bad name.

Timeless fashion

I guess the picture above sums up the amount of effort people used to put into architecture. I mean little statues adorning the corners of buildings and grand clocks flanked by sculptures are not the stuff you see on the average Singaporean building.

Oh well, Milan being the fashion capital of Italy, if not the world, shopping thus was in order! And where better to head to than Ferrari! Lol... as if we could afford one.

Look at that beauty...Princess i mean...hehe

I wanna trade my current bike in Aarhus for this...yummy...

The shopping there is quite endless really. Like a friend said, to see Milan's sights, you need 2 days, to see all the shops, you need at least 5 =) .

Anyway, the assholes upstairs have been roasted by a heroine ( I heard loud high pitched shrieking) and thus ends my sleepless night and this Milan update.

Trip to Castellanza and Belgium up next... zzz
